Continued Excellence and Achievement of Ardakan University in the Selected Industrial Projects of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology

In line with achieving the goals of industry collaboration, among 164 selected industrial projects from universities and research institutes across the country, three projects by faculty members of Ardakan University were recognized as national distinguished projects in the year 1403 (2024).

According to the report from the Public Relations and International Affairs Office of Ardakan University, Mohammad Saeed Seif, Director General of Community and Industry Relations at the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, in a letter emphasizing the role of research in the development of societies and the unparalleled role of universities and research institutes, stated the necessity of establishing connections with industries and executive organizations, a connection that has become more prominent in recent years. Accordingly, the Office of Community and Industry Relations at the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, in cooperation with universities, research institutes, and higher education centers, has compiled a booklet of 164 selected industrial projects for the year 1403 (2024), in which three projects from Ardakan University have been highlighted. It is noteworthy that among the universities and research institutes nationwide, the University of Tehran leads with eight selected industrial projects.

In this collection, two projects by Dr. Mitra Mobad titled “Feasibility Study on the Implementation of Digital Maturity Assessment Models in Mining and Steel Companies” and “Documentation of the Experiences of Business Clusters in Yazd Province,” as well as a joint project by Dr. Mina Alafzadeh and Dr. Mehran Rabani titled “The Effect of Insulation on Reducing Cooling Load in Buildings,” have been introduced as distinguished research projects.

The Public Relations and International Affairs Office of Ardakan University, while expressing gratitude for the effective and valuable efforts of these three esteemed faculty members of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, congratulates the entire academic community of Ardakan University and the city of Ardakan on this honor and prays for the continuation of these successes. It is hoped that by establishing a system for identifying challenges and directing activities and research, the higher education sector will effectively contribute to meeting the needs of society and industry.
